An awesome depiction of the pre-nuked city, love the atmosphere and how selfcontained the city section looks, one slight nigley detail bothers me though is the large opening at the front of the city presuming its for traffic seems out of scale with the surronding buildings so I'm going to assume that its an opening for frigate sized ships to dock with the city, sort of reminicient of the landing area surrounding the senate building from Starwars episodes II-III. Once again though, AWESOME WORK.
Man I wish I can do anything close to that. Is it going to play like Halo though? Are you doing the Halo Wars version of the Mark IV? I'm not to keen on the Halo Legend's variant. Look to much Like the Mark VI to me.
In some ways it will, but in a lot of other ways, it'll be a much different experience. The Halo games don't really portray the Spartans as they are in the novels. You know, the high-speed death machines that they are. Also, the Covenant weaponry will pack a punch as described in the novels.
There will also be an emphasis on stealth-based gameplay, although you won't be required to play like that. However, we're still in pre-production, and these things are subject to change.
The MJOLNIR in Venerance represents an amalgamation between the Mark IV and Mark V generations since this does take place during the latter part of 2552. So some parts are from the Mark IV armor, and other parts are from the Mark V. Basically, the Spartans here are upgraded as soon as new armor pieces are made available. However, they still won't have shields.
