Halo 4 Poster

This was made for the RvB Canwest online auctions, where the proceeds are donated to the charity, Child's Play. This poster was printed out in a 20″ x 30″ size and was sent to 343 Industries to be signed.

So long time ago, I made a different poster (for the same purpose- might upload that one later), and it was sent to 343i, but I didn't really hear much about what happened after that until later on. 343 Industries had an issue with the way it was presented and didn't want people to think that it was officially endorsed.

They wanted me to change just some minor things like instead of saying "Art by Garrett Post", it would say "Fan Art by Garrett Post" and there would be a little message somewhere that says it's not officially endorsed. Would have been an easy fix, but I wasn't satisfied with the original, so I asked Laird (the guy who runs the auction) if I could re-do the poster. Initially he was cautious about that idea because he needed the poster to be re-sent to 343 right away Instead of taking days to the original, I busted this one out in an afternoon right before my evening class. And let me tell you, it's a lot more appealing to look at than the original.
